An Open Letter to The Collective Connected

Hey Collective, it's been a while.

The launch of The Collective Connected exceeded my expectations. Numerous creatives have offered their time and expertise for interviews, I've connected with incredible professionals who have taught me about building a new community, and, most excitingly, several individuals have decided to join this community.

Thank you for that.

I envisioned this space as a hub for creatives to connect, collaborate, and create their own opportunities. However, the initial focus has been more on producing content through CCTV, which I am proud of and grateful for the contributions made so far.

But now it's time to refocus and return The Collective Connected to its core element, you.

As a user of The Collective Connected, you can:

  • Join a creative community

  • Post and apply for creative opportunities via the job board

  • Engage in an open forum to network with other creatives

  • Build your portfolio on your profile page

  • Share your work without an algorithm dictating its reach

  • Discover more about advancing in your creative journey through CCTV episodes

How do I ensure you know about all these features?

The drawing board is extensive, yet it feels too "perfect" and "polished" for a space meant for creatives who are far from that, especially at the beginning of their journey. The standout aspect, however, is the core of The Collective Connected: giving a voice to a community of unheard creatives.

So I have to ask:

What would help you understand all the features of The Collective Connected?

Your feedback is always greatly appreciated and will help grow this community into a tool that is useful for you and empowers your growth.

Thank you always for being a member!

Best,

Tyiona
